【2024.07 Update】A display has been added that indicates when audio and video data is being uploaded!

We would like to inform you of a feature update regarding the video calling system.

A display has been added that indicates when audio and video data is being uploaded!

Bellbird's recording system works as follows:


-During a call: Recording data is generated in the host's browser
-At the end of a call: Recording data is uploaded from the host's browser
-Uploading takes about 2 to 3 seconds

Due to this specification, if the host's browser is closed during the upload, the recorded data will not be uploaded completely.

In response, we have added a display that reads "Uploading Recording + Upload Progress Rate" in the host's ”People” tab when there is data that has not been uploaded.
*Note that this is not displayed on the participant side.

Please take a look at the video showing what is displayed after a call ends.

00:04 "Uploading Recording+Progress: 0%" is displayed
00:05 "Uploading Recording+Progress: 25%" is displayed
00:06 The upload is complete. The "Uploading Recording" message disappears.

For companies currently using the recording functions, please inform your staff and tutors that if the "Recording uploading" message appears, they should wait 2-3 seconds for the message to disappear.
