Hello everyone! I am Marcia and I am from Zimbabwe. My father used to be an English lecturer hence my love for the English language. My hobbies include traveling and listening to choral and mainstream music. I also enjoy playing the piano and outdoor activities such as walking. I have worked in various organisations where I have taught Science to high school students and where I have trained adults in food safety. I have also held various roles in industries such as airline catering, horticultural exports and I have worked in a global beverage company where I used business English. I became an ESL tutor because I enjoy helping others in reaching their goals and I am passionate about sharing the skills I have learnt throughout my life. I am patient and am an approachable person. I am also a keen listener and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. In my opinion the best way to teach English is to understand why the student would like to learn the language and where they want to apply it. Conversational English, where one uses the language in day to day scenarios is the best way of learning and mastering the language. I hope to see you in my class.
