Since it's a 1:1 class, your input is important. Now a little about me: I'm a very experienced (20+ years) American teacher. I live in crazy Mexico City. I'm enthusiastic, professional, dedicated, and respectful. I have taught at the university level, directed my own private school, and also have vast experience working virtually with Japanese students. I have taught many kinds of classes: conversation, pronunciation, business, test prep (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, etc.). I am especially experienced in advanced grammar/writing and test prep and have authored over 15 award-winning textbooks, including 5-Step TOEFL Prep for Japanese Speakers. I have a degree in English and have perfect scores on TOEFL exams; I have TESOL & TEFL certification. I enjoy sharing my Western culture with my students and I’m able to competently discuss a wide variety of topics and current events; I am also very interested in Japanese culture. It was an excellent experience that I spent with him. As he said that he is running his own English school now and have taught many Korean English for many years, he was one of my best tutor who I've met. He could listen my slow speaking with patient and if I couldn't understand what he said, he could catch it and speak more slowly and clearly for me. We spent many parts of this lesson to introduce each other but even it was good for me. I expect that we can meet again soon and talk about more thing.
