I hold two Bachelor's degrees: one in English Language Teaching and the other one in Certified Translation from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, one of the best private universities in Latin America. I am also a TESOL-certified English Teacher (International Open Academy) and have recently finished a course from Cambridge Assessment English to refine my English language teaching skills. In addition, I finished a postgraduate course on the Ability-Based Approach used at Alverno College, Wisconsin, USA, delivered by Desiree Pointer-Mace, an Alverno College professor. To sum up, I have lots of experience as a teacher and as a translator. As far as teaching is concerned, I have been working as an in-company Business and Agribusiness English Teacher in several different companies and government bodies; as an Elementary School English Teacher at one of the most prestigious bilingual schools of my country, which was founded by a teacher who was born in England and settled down in Argentina; and as an Online English Teacher and Tutor delivering English classes to students from all over the world. I am also an online volunteer tutor who helps students who live in Chicago, Illinois, USA and belong to economically disadvantaged families to develop and enhance their reading skills. I meet my students twice a week to continually assess them on their progress and growth. As regards my prospective professional plans, I intend to get a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education from a foreign university located in Europe. In addition, I would like to join a program to teach English in the USA in the near future. Furthermore, I am about to join a program as a volunteer to teach English to Ukrainian junior high school students and to share my country’s culture and traditions with them. Finally, I must say I am really passionate about the English language itself and English Language teaching in particular.
