I am from San Francisco, California. I became an English tutor originally when I was a nanny in New York, helping the child learn daily English skills gave me such a feeling of accomplishment. I now, in addition to online tutoring, teach English classes abroad (in Croatia) to children and adults. I have learned the best way to teach English is with lots of empathy, as I began learning a foreign language (Croatian) myself, I suddenly transformed my teaching style with more understanding than ever of the struggle of learning a language so different than my native tongue.
