Nice to meet you! I have taught English for some time to students at a non-profit in the USA and at various schools in East Asia. I have a particular emphasis on reading and speaking from my experience teaching both young and adult students. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and I have worked for two years in the financial industry in New York City and for two years as an economics teacher for university students. My hobbies include playing chess, traveling, learning languages, and swimming. I have been to more than 30 different countries, particularly those in East Asia, the post-Soviet countries, and the Middle East, and lived in four countries. Due to my travel exposure, I am more in tune with foreign cultures, and I can assist you more effectively in learning English. I became an ESL tutor because I understand the value of learning English and the opportunities that it brings. I hope to help you build your confidence and level of English to sound like a native speaker!
